This Privacy Policy explains how ExPouch (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information through the ExPouch mobile app (the “App”) and expouch.com (the “Site”). You can contact us about this policy or your data at [email protected].

Information We Handle

Depending on how you use the App or Site, this may include:

• Information you provide: pouch logs, product or strength choices, usage goals, plan settings, and information you send when contacting us.
• App and subscription information: app activity, diagnostic events, and purchase or subscription status. Some App information, including logs, reminders, and widget data, may be stored on your device. Purchases made through Apple's App Store are handled by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
• Site usage and technical information: pages viewed, interactions, approximate country, IP address, browser and device information, and a browser identifier. We may also receive the page that referred you to the Site and advertising campaign or click identifiers in its URL.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide tracking and planning features, show your progress, manage subscriptions, respond to requests, maintain security, diagnose problems, and understand and improve the App and Site. We also measure visits and advertising performance. If you ask to receive updates, we may use your contact information to send them.

Sharing and Third-Party Services

Service providers may process information on our behalf to provide analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, hosting, and advertising measurement. These disclosures are not limited to aggregated or anonymized data: a provider may receive an identifier, IP address, device or browser information, and individual usage or conversion events relevant to its service.

On the Site, Mixpanel receives usage events, an identifier, and technical information such as IP address to help us understand visits and campaign attribution. Current Site events do not include individual pouch logs or plan answers.

The App may use Expo, Sentry, Adjust, Mixpanel, and RevenueCat for functions such as delivery, diagnostics, analytics, attribution, and subscriptions. The information each service receives depends on the features and integrations in the App version you use. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses browser storage, cookies, and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and campaign attribution. The App and its service providers may use SDKs and device identifiers for similar purposes. You can manage browser cookies through your browser and device permissions through your device settings. Uninstalling the App stops future collection from that installation, but does not delete information already sent to us or a service provider.

Legal Bases and International Transfers

Where a legal basis is required, we process information to provide requested features or services, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as securing and improving the service. We rely on consent for optional communications and for tracking where applicable law requires it. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on it.

Our service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers rely on an applicable legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us if you would like information about a particular transfer.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including providing the service, resolving requests, preventing abuse, and meeting legal obligations. Data stored only on your device remains there until you remove it or delete the App. If you ask us to delete information we hold, we will delete or de-identify it unless we need to keep some information for a lawful reason. Service providers may have their own retention periods.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where applicable. California residents may also have rights to know about and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. We do not sell personal information for money. Disclosures to advertising partners may, however, count as “sharing” under California law. You can request an opt-out or exercise other applicable rights by contacting us at the email address above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

Age Requirements

ExPouch is intended for people who are at least 18 and have reached the age of majority where they live, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone below that age. If you believe an ineligible person has provided us with information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Security and Changes

We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle, although no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We may update this policy when our practices change. We will post the updated version here with a new date and provide additional notice when required by law.
